Fostering Science presentation contest 長けているのは数学や科学の才能だけじゃない

Attended the inaugural Global Science Link (GSL), the international high school students science presentation contest organized by Genting, which owns Resorts World at Sentosa (Integrated Resort). Being greeted by Mr. Tan Hee Teck, CEO of Genting, I met many top science students including Japanese. Fun! Two judges are from A*Star (Agency for Science, Technology and Research). They are amazingly young intelligent scientists. No wonder that Singapore is ranked No.2 in Math and No.3 in Science in the world by PISA. GSL was based on Tsukuba Science Edge which Tsukuba Univ initiated in Japan from 2010! 

GSLは科学とテクノロジーのアイデアを英語で発表する高校生のための国際コンテストで、筑波大学が始めたもの。大使の代理で挨拶に行ってきました。カジノで有名なセントーサ島の複合リゾート会社ゲンティン社のタン社長が主催してくれました。シンガポール人は、数学や科学に長けているだけでなく、本当に進取の気性に富んでいる！
