Boosting contemporary arts in historic site: 現代美術にもっと触れてもらうために

There is a place called Gillman Barracks where the British and Japanese army fought in 1942.  Now it is a place hosting 15 international contemporary gallaries, and three of them are from Japan. Tomio Koyama Gallery, Mizuma Gallery, and Ota Fine Arts are boosting locoomotive not only in this place but all Singaporean art scene.  We just  had a reception for closing of the show co-sponsored by JTI and us.

第２次世界大戦時、日英が戦った史跡が、いま１５軒の現代美術画廊が並ぶ、シンガポール随一のヒップな場所になっている。その内、３軒もが日本の画廊で、ギルマン・バラックすのみならず、シンガポール全体の現代美術シーンの牽引力になっている。今晩はそのうちの１軒で行われた展覧会閉会レセプションに参加。我々と日本のJTIの支援案件である。
